I am awful at introducing myself. 

I am utterly incapable at listing my good qualities, I tend to be overly quiet, and I just always make it seem like I am a confused 80 year old man. While that last point is arguably true, under-representing myself has always been a flaw of mine. 

In person at least, but behind a screen, my little digital safe space, I feel a little less inclined to do so. I want to be a trusted author don’t I? That means representing myself to the fullest extent, showing a piece of who I really am in order to prove that I am not just attempting to waste your time with another insincere post meant to simply gather clicks and attention. 

In that case then, I am Alexander, most often known as Alex, a 19 year old child with no clue as to what is going on. Born and raised in the Midwest (that’s in America for any foreign readers (we grow stuff (like corn) ) ) and now in Maryland (that’s also in America (we get crabs (not the STD) ) ), I like to think I have a decent variety of good ol’ Midwestern mannerisms and new-age East Coast resiliency. I study currently at a place called St. John’s College, a liberal arts school for the strange and deranged, working and learning and all that good stuff. 

I am a simple guy, I like the things I like, and don’t like what I don’t like, but to be quite honest there are very few things I don’t like. Such as people! I love people. I honestly love them too, it’s hard to explain (a subject for future introspection maybe), but I can’t think of most people as anything other than brothers and sisters. Most of the time anyway; I don’t like some people of course. 

Speaking of not liking some people, politics! What are my political views you ask? Well screw you! I don’t wanna talk about it. But since you insist, let me boil what I think down for you. I don’t like bullies, liers, cheats, cowards, or any other negatively adjectivized people. I don’t like time wasting, distractions, selfishness, and boastfulness. I don’t like what I see, not one bit. And for now, that is enough. 

Well it turns out that even in writing form I’m not that great at showing myself off, but hey, I gave it a good go. I hope you like the following posts, and if you enjoy my stuff, thats enough for me.
